An introspective door buzzer designed to replace the white Orwellian boxes that currently occupy the space next to our apartment doors.
Influenced by the broader implications of Carl Sagan's original Cosmos hardcover and Terrence Malick's Tree of Life. Pressing the "GIVE" or "RECEIVE" buttons allow the modulated voice signal from the front door's intercom to flow through the physical copper words of the quote and into the speaker, producing sound. Pressing the "ACCEPT" button opens the door.
